-LA ASOCIACIÓN CIVIL INTERNACIONAL DE CESTOBALL, OFICIALMENTE CONSTITUIDA . Ya es oficial. Uno de los pasos históricos más importantes del Cestoball. Un deporte argentino que por primera vez tiene su institución a nivel mundial oficialmente constituída: la ASOCIACIÓN CIVIL INTERNACIONAL DE CESTOBALL. Así es desde el pasado 22 de octubre, a través de la resolución de la Inspección General de Justicia del Ministerio de Justicia y Derechos Humanos de la Nación. Esto es producto de un gran trabajo realizado por el equipo de la Confederación Argentina de Cestoball y las Asociaciones de India, Kenia y Zimbabue. Agradecemos la labor llevada a cabo por Escribania MR, a través del Escribano Mariano Rodriguez y la Escribana Sofía Retegui, sin quienes este enorme logro para nuestro deporte no hubiera sido posible. . El Cestoball fue creado en Argentina en 1897 bajo el nombre de Pelota al Cesto. En las décadas de 1970 a 1990 tuvo incursiones a nivel internacional que incluyeron giras, torneos continentales y eventos mundiales, que quedaron discontinuados llegando al año 2000. A partir de 2018 gracias al trabajo conjunto de Argentina e India, se inició la tarea de volver a activar la disciplina a nivel mundial. Hoy el Cestoball ya cuenta oficialmente con su Asociación Internacional y el 2022 celebrará nuevamente una Copa del Mundo, la primera bajo la gestión oficial de la entidad. . El organismo será presidido por la argentina Laura Antas Aguerrondo.

También agradecemos al Comité Olímpico Argentino por el soporte y asistencia para lograr éste objetivo.

-THE INTERNATIONAL CESTOBALL NON-PROFIT ASSOCIATION IS OFFICIALLY ESTABLISHED

 

It is official now. And it is one of the greatest milestones in the history of Cestoball. An Argentine sport has an international organization officially incorporated for the first time in its history: the INTERNATIONAL CESTOBALL NON-PROFIT ASSOCIATION.

This took place on October 22, 2021 through a resolution from the Corporate Records Office, Ministry of Justice and Human Rights of Argentina.

This is the result of a magnificent task performed by the Argentine Confederation of Cestoball and the cestoball associations from India, Kenya, and Zimbabwe.

We are grateful for the work performed by the notaries at Escribanía MR, Mariano Rodriguez and Sofía Retegui, without whom this huge achievement would not have been possible.

Cestoball was created in Argentina in 1897 as “pelota al cesto”. From the seventies to the nineties, there were some approaches to establishing an international network of teams, including tours, continental tournaments, and other international events, but they all halted due to different reasons by the 21st century.

As of 2018, due to the joint work of Argentina and India, the task of resuming international activity was undertaken.

Today cestoball has its own international association and in 2022 a new World Cup is being held, this time under the management of this newly established entity.
